Bulk vs bagged mulch: which actually saves money?

Updated May 2026 5 min read

  • You can't accept a 5-7 yd³ truck dump
  • You're moving in stages over weeks
  • You want a specific dyed color not in bulk

Pick bulk when

  • Project is over ~3 cubic yards
  • You have driveway space for a dump pile
  • You want one finished color across all beds
  • You're splitting a delivery with a neighbor
